Wychavon Student Wind Band

Autum Term Rehearsals 14, 28 September 12, 26 October 9, 23 November 7 December

Wychavon Student Wind Band is a community band aimed at beginners and intermediate students of all ages. Any one who has been learning for about year and can play and read at least an octave should be good enough to join. There may be opportunities for higher ability students to play solo parts and there are simplified flute, clarinet and cornet/trumpet parts for those who need them! This is also an opportunity for any adults who used to play a woodwind or brass instrument to return to playing! A number of instruments are available for loan or hire and tuition can be arranged if required. We rehearse in Harvington Village Hall 3pm until 5pm every other Sunday afternoon. Autumn term rehearsals start on Sunday 14 September. We will be holding a 2-day workshop February half-term 2009 - more information shortly. This is intended to provide existing and potential members the opportunity to have some fun making music. If you have questions please telephone 01386 870153 or e-mail.
